What is My Earth in 180’ ?
My Earth in 180’ is the first collaborative workshop to emerge from the academic world, designed to develop strategies for reducing one’s carbon footprint. Becoming a My Earth in 180’ facilitator means playing an active role in transforming practices within higher education and research organisations.
The aim of the My Earth in 180’ workshop is to initiate, in a fun and engaging way, discussions about a laboratory’s carbon footprint by examining travel (air, train, car, boat) and activities (fieldwork, modelling, conferences, etc.) and to propose concrete measures to be implemented to reduce this footprint by 50% by 2030 at the latest.
My Earth in 180’ has been approved as one of the workshops of the Labos1point5 Experimentation group.
